<Stone Mecca Interview>

First Contact [Stone Mecca Speaks To Your Soul] Interview:
2006 has seen a Wu-Tang renaissance, The clan recently just completed a very successful US reunion tour in memory Of the late ODB, and around the same time, The Wu-Tang Killa Beez were swarming the whole of Europe with their infectious sting.
Ghostface killah just recently dropped another banging gem "Fishscale" and the world awaits Raekwon to release the much anticipated "OB4CL II", but wait it

gets better, albums planned also for this year include darts from Method Man, GZA/Genius, Masta Killa, Cilvaringz and lots more known and unknown.

The biggest family in hip-hop and music in general are very well known for constantly giving birth to new talents or adopting existing acts. The abbot of the clan, The RZA has got an exceptional gift of spotting great talents, Early this year, The RZA introduced a new chapter into the 36 chambers, Wu-Tang Latino, known simply as Wu Latino, bringing a fusion of Latin hip-hop and reggaeton in a Wu-Tang fashion.

Another unforeseen move was the signing of Stone Mecca,
a soul, r&b, funk duo from L.A.  Traé James and Salakida make up the group and they bring something new, fresh, unique and superlative to just not the Wu-Tang movement but also to the world of music as a whole, stretching beyond hip-hop, soul, r&B and any other genre for that matter. With Wu Latino being the next chamber, judging from what has been has been heard so far, Stone Mecca has got to be the future chambers.

With all the questions running through the average readers head right now as to who, where, what, Wu-International had the privilege of a first encounter with the Traé
and Salakida to get a better picture of Stone Mecca. Click on the picture above or this link to check out The interview Now, and get an experience of first contact,,, Enjoy!

[22. March. 2006] New Update:

M.M.O. Takes Shots At Cam'ron/Dipset: Brooklyn crew responds to Cam'ron/Jay-Z diss. "Disrespectin' Brooklyn now it's time to make it even.." Brooklyn's Coney Island All Stars have recently released an earth-shattering mix CD that currently has the streets buzzing, however, they want to be perfectly clear…they're not just doing it for Jay-Z. The hard-hitting mix CD "Dipset Killin' Season" is designed to put Brooklyn New York and the East Coast back on the map. Consisting of M.M.O. (Money Makin' Operation) and A-Line Entertainment, Coney Island All Stars have combined forces to create a unified front avenging Killa Cam's verbal assaults on Jay-Z and Brooklyn in general.

"Don't get it twisted, we have a lot of love for Harlem but these cats (Dipset) clearly disrespected Brooklyn by comin' at Hova (Jay-Z)" stated A-Line's Actual Facts.(A.Fac) MMO's Trigga adds, "This is on some Hiphop shit…it's never personal"

"Dipset Killa Season" contains 6 street bangers clearly showing that this team from Coney Island are not taking any shorts when it comes to their beloved borough. The title track and forthcoming video, "Get Strapped Up" features a hard-knock beat with verbal darts courtesy of J-Murda, Trigga, Itchy Finga Sha & A.Fac. However, the mix CD gets really ugly with "Never End", an all-out assault aimed towards the entire Dipset camp featuring Breegz, J-Murda, & A.Fac".

The Coney Island All Stars didn't go into this making a "diss record" per se, however a line from the lead track "Disrespecting BK" says it best…"Brooklyn stick together this the Big Brother borough…"

Ghostface Killah's final track listing. A number of online sites such as amazon has put up the final tracklisting of GFK's fishscale album which is scheduled to drop on the 28th of march. Initially it was the covers that were changed, and the new tracklisting differs from the previously reported listing with some added tracks. [06. March. 2006] New Update:

Masta Killa Says "Go Veg": It’s no secret that the Wu-Tang Clan’s Masta Killa, whose sophomore release, Made in Brooklyn, hits stores in April, is a passionate artist who takes his work seriously. Never one to disappoint his fans or fellow Wu-Tang members, he gives his all and stays true to his principles—whether he’s hard at work in the studio or just living his everyday life.

So it was no surprise that Mastak Killa agreed to star in an ad for peta2 promoting the benefits of vegetarianism—something he’s followed for more than a decade. Masta Killa, who admits to being forced to eat meat as a child, is urging people to think before they eat in his new public service announcement: “Go veg—for animals, for your health, for life.”

“I’ll do anything that’s going to save animals,” explains Masta Killa. “Anytime I can encourage people to think twice before [doing] anything to animals … that’s a good thing.”

[27. February. 2006] New Update:

RZA's Blood Of A Champion: The man behind the beats of the Wu-Tang Clan, Rza, has continually stepped further and further away from exclusively creating hip hop music. Garnering acclaim for his soundtrack work on both Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and Ghostdog: The Way of the Samurai, Rza is proving to his naysayers that he is worthy of being labeled a ‘musician’.

Most recently, Rza co-executive produced and scored the music for Blood of a Champion, a film featuring actor Bokeem Woodbine (Dead Presidents, Jason’s Lyric) and singer/actress Deborah Cox.

Blood of a Champion is an action-drama film based around the lead character, Shadow (Woodbine) and his tribulations of being released from prison only to enter the grueling world of underground boxing. Shadow must also face the obstacle of reclaiming his wife’s (Cox) love.

Blood of a Champion, written and directed by Lawrence Page, received high marks and praise during its debut at the 2005 American Black Film Festival. It is scheduled to hit store shelves on March 7th, 2006.

Ol' Dirty's Wife Writes A Book About ODB: Outside of her nonstop trips in and out of court in hopes of acquiring Ol Dirty Bastard’s assets and estate from his mother, Icelene Jones is preparing final revisions on book which chronicles the life of her late husband. The rookie writer is also in the middle of a lawsuit against Damon Dash for allegedly using her deceased husband’s famous initials on a line of Pro Ked sneakers.
It looks as if writing a tell all book has become the gateway for instant success for women who stay in the background of their famous love interests. While I don’t knock their hustle you have to wonder when is a line going to be establish for them not to cross? There are some things that should remain sacred and secret. Do hip hop fans really need a book telling us every minor detail about Ol’ Dirty’s life? I don’t think so. If she was so interested in getting her story out there to the public why did she wait until after his death to pen a book? One can easily begin to think that she is just looking to cash in on his demise. The woman kept a damn sample of the man's DNA after he died for crying out loud.

[23. February. 2006] New Update

Warcloud /Holocaust: Westcoast Killa Beez most wanted will be releasing 2 of the heavily bootlegged, unreleased, and rare internet albums officially via Chambermusik within the next couple of weeks or months, no said date has been announced yet. Both albums "Smugglin' Booze in the Graveyard" and "Nightmares that Surface from Shallow Sleep" will each contain a bonus and never heard before track respectively. This release is not in conjunction with any project Warcloud might or might not currently be working on, this release pertains to the aforementioned 2 albums, and it is organized, and documented via Chambermusik. Wu-tang Clan fans and hip-Hop fans alike salute the return of one if not the best lyricist out there, Warcloud!

..........................................

Skare-Christ : In related news, another Westcoast Killa Bee member, ChristBearer from Northstar will be releasing a solo EP soon entitled "Passion Of Christ" produced entirely by Skarekrow. This is following the modern day hip-hop trend of producer / MC collaboration, as done by the likes of 9th Wonder & Buckshot, 4th Disciple & Hell Razah, GZA/Genius & DJ Muggs, and so on. This might not necessarily be a new trend as such if you look at groups like Gangstarr, or even N.W.A where there is or was a main producer / DJ who is responsible for the artist or group's sound. The combination of Skarekrow and ChristBearer is sure to spark flames, ChristBearer is currently  on the European Wu-Tang Killa Bees 10th anniversary tour along side Cilvaringz, Shabazz The Disciple, Kill army and more.

[20. February. 2006] New Update:

The Lost Children Of Hip-Hop: The year was like early 1995 when a group of MC's made numerous guest appearances on one of everybody's all-time favorite album "The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological, and Electromagnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness". This album was released by the now popular underground hip-hop duo hailing from Philadelphia known as Jedi Mind Tricks and they have had a massive cult following ever since, The theme on the Psycho-social album included government conspiracies and ancient Middle-Eastern mythology, and featured the recording debut of fellow Philly rappers El Eloh [Rasul Allahu] and Breath of Judah from the Lost Children of Babylon on multiple songs.

So who are the Lost Children Of Babylon? Lost can mean a person who is presumed to have wandered away and has become lost and unable to return to a known location. Babylon however has numerous meaning, Babylon could be the later name given to Babel which means Confusion. It was the capital city of Babylonia in Mesopotamia (in contemporary Iraq, about 70 mi/110 km south of Baghdad). The name is the Greek form of Babel, which is derived in turn from the Semitic form bab-Illu, meaning "The Gate of God". This Semitic word is a translation of the Sumerian Kadmirra. Without dwelling much on the meaning behind the group, LCOB started off as a three man group and has evolved from three to six to nine, this current roster can only be compared to that of one of the greatest groups of all time "the Deep Space 9" aka Wu-Tang Clan, which started off as All In together with The RZA, GZA/Genius and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard to include a full group of nine. The comparison to the clan doesn't just lie with the similarity in conscious lyrics, sound or group numbers but it extends further to family ties and affiliations with Killah Priest, Sunz of man and Wu-tang Killa Beez.

The nine person movement consisting of Rasul Allahu, The Breath of Judah, Richard Raw, Cosmic Crusader, Ancient Kemite, Amun Sen Hotep Re, Atum Sen Geb the Eloheem, Stretch the Mad Scientist and Wazulu the Ill Dravidian, the group has gone on to release three albums independently to date, the first debut album Where Light Is Created: The Equidivium and followed it up with Words From The Duat: The Book of Anubis and their last controversial album The 911 Report: The Ultimate Conspiracy to raucous reception amongst Philly's underground hip-hop elite. Immediately striking to many was the lyrical content: spiritually enlightened but also radically and socially aware, combining life experience, everyday events, right knowledge spread by Dr. Malachi Z. York, the master teacher of the Nuwaubians, and a variety of culturally infused theories about the creation and ultimate destiny of the human soul, LCOB brought something very unique, exciting and much needed to the hip-hop table, even with the message aside, LCOB also brings in good music.

High on demand on ebay, internet stores, street corners, barbershops, overseas in Europe, Asia, Japan and Jupiter, LCOB albums have sold out every time it had been released, as it was independently released until recently. Babygrande, also home to hip-hop elites such as Jedi Mind Tricks, Canibus,  GZA/Genius, Dreddy Kruger, Army OF The Pharaohs and more has since recognized the talents of LCOB, but has recently joined forced with LCOB due to respect and appreciation of their skills and influence and popular market demand to re-release all 3 classic albums. As on the 21st of February, 2006, all three albums will be available to buy online, and in your local stores, It is a recommendation that everyone goes out and support the albums.

While the group might remain a mystery to some, there are also a number of things that those who think they know LCOB don't, Wu-International tracked down and politicked with Rasul Allahu, the spiritual leader of the group, and the talented Richard Raw for an in-depth ancient history of The Lost Children Of Babylon, Their albums, Spiritualism, United Nuwaubian Nation Of Moors, Politricks, ties with Killah Priest and Sunz Of Man, history between them and Jedi Mind Tricks, the future and so on and so on..... Click on the banners above or THIS LINK to read the full and interesting interview. Enjoy!

[17. February. 2006] New Update:

4th Disciple: The genius behind the Killarmy sound as well as Wu-Tang and others preps new album. The first of an instrumental series is entitled "Frequency Inforcement Lessons  #1" and no said date has been annouced for this release as of yet. Apart from the Killarmy albums, 4th Disciple has been involved in so many other projects, released an MP3 EP around 1999 called "Steel Valley Project Vol. 1" and has gone on to produce a collaborative album with Hell Razah on "Freedom Of Speech", he is still yet to release a full length solo album to date.

Ghostface Killah Prepares For Fishscale Tour After Wu-Tang As Album Release Date Is Pushed Back:
Ghostface is preparing a nationwide tour, scheduled to begin after Wu-Tang Clan’s remaining concert dates, in promotion for his upcoming album Fishscale. The album which was originally slated for February 28th release has pushed back one month and it is now slated for March 28th.

The Staten Island crew, who dominated rap music throughout the ‘90s, has seen its fair share of problems lately. With the recent passing of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, as well as the drifting apart of its original members over the years, this is the first time the Wu has performed together since 2004.

“It’s been twelve years of miscommunications, twelve years of burned bridges,” U-God recently told the Village Voice. “But Wu-Tang is still the greatest rap crew of all time.” Wu affiliate Mathematics agreed. “It’s always going to be hard to put twelve people together. You’ve got a group like the Fugees; sometimes it might be hard to put them three together. Everybody is different, and we all grew up. Everybody is grown men nowadays; we all have family. Twelve, thirteen years down the line, people do change.”

Ghostface -- who recently shot the video for his latest single “Back Like That -- explained that this tour is a trial run for the Clan. “[The tour is] a test. It might be a test where niggas fuck around and say, 'Nah, I'm not fucking with that nigga.' Or it might be a test where it's like, 'You know what? I'm only fucking with niggas for paper, and if there's paper involved, we could get the paper.' Or it could be like, 'Damn, it's love, y'all. I miss you, son.' It could be any of those three, but I can't tell you what till the end of the tour."

Ghost’s solo tour is slated to hit over 30 cities, and will follow Wu-Tang’s final performance on Feb. 19th. His album Fishscale is due out in stores March, 28th.

Wu-Tang Clan’s Remaining Tour Dates:

Sunz Of Man: A new compilation album entitled "The Old Testament" will be released on the 21st of March, 2006 through Green Streets Entertainment. Die hard Sunz Of Man fans will be very disappointed to find out that this release has nothing new, but similar to The First Testament / Elements  [1999/2004] releases, both albums were released separately but with same tracks and this new compilation has nothing new except from some of the songs taken from their last real album Saviorz Day, and few songs leaked on mixtapes, making it look more like another countless best of albums. The current album title is still "flawless execution" but that is not concrete and can change, Stay tuned for more updates.

[13. January. 2006] New Update:

Beneath The Earth's Surface (And Rising Above): The year was 1999, Wu-Tang Clan's Sharp lyricist GZA/Genius introduced the world to a female MC, who spat venomous verses on two songs ("1112" and "Victim") off the classic album "Beneath The Surface" along side heavy weights like Killah Priest, and Masta Killa over a RZA and Arabian Knight production. Wu-Tang fans quickly started speculating about the young MC called Njeri (Earth), word was that she was GZA's new protege, another addition to the ever growing Wu-Tang Killa Beez, regardless of the rumored affiliation, one thing was for sure, the verses she dropped on that album left a remarkable stain on every Wu-Tang fan.

Not much was heard from her, Well so it seems, While she has not been seen along the Wu-tang guest shots, Njeri Earth was busy doing her own thing, gaining recognition in Detroit's burgeoning underground scene, becoming a finalist in the 2001-2002 Spitfest, and featuring on Swami's "Unity" album off the Professors of faith record label. Hollywood finally caught up with Njeri, as in mid 2001, she secured a spot in the major hit movie "The 8 Mile" alongside rap star Eminem as a freestyle rapper in the "cipher in the parking lot rap scene".

2005 Njeri Earth finally drops her debut solo album entitled "Supa Sista", The major factor that separates Njeri from many of her Hip-Hop peers is the depth of her musical knowledge. She graduated from an esteemed 4-year musical program at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan, and is familiar with all genres of music. Not only can Njeri spit a mean flow, she can also compose, arrange, and produce the final product. She is also well versed in Several instruments, such as flute, keyboard and percussion.

Wu-International ran into the queen Njeri Earth and managed to find out where she has been, what she has been up to and will be up to, everything you would want to know about this hidden jewel of the hip hop nile, Click on the pictures above or the links below to read the interview conducted, or review of the album.

Wu-Tang Dedicate Tour To ODB As Raekwon Preps New Album With Busta Rhymes:
Raekwon says when Wu-Tang Clan get onstage and pay tribute to ODB on their upcoming tour, it won't be a sorrowful affair. It'll be a celebration. ""You know how much he meant to us, to our family," Rae said Wednesday (January 11) about the Wu-Tang tour that runs through most of February. Plans were announced Tuesday for the trek, which starts February 7 in New Haven, Connecticut, at Toad's Place and concludes February 19 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida. Wu have dedicated the reunion to their fallen brother, who died a little over a year ago. Some proceeds from the tour will be going to Dirty's family.

"We haven't seen people since all the stuff's been going on, so we figured we'd set up a tour," Rae said. "The staff got together and we was like, 'Yo, we need to all go out and show the people we're still one.' At the same time, this is in the honor of my beloved [friend]. We got to do it. It gives us an opportunity to ventilate and go through whatever we go through. It's like yo, we taking the family on a trip again and on the course of the trip, we get to talk to one another again."

The Clan performed together without Dirty prior to his death, but there was always the possibility he could pop up onstage at any time — even when he was a fugitive with multiple warrants out for his arrest. This time around, everyone will be aware Wu can never perform with him again.

"It's deep not having him there," Rae continued. "It's like yo, we gotta keep moving forward. He's there in spirit all the time, but at the same time, we gotta get onstage and do our job. This is a job right now; this is how we feed our families. At the end of the day, the show must go on. God forbid, if I wasn't here, I would always want my brothers to continue to do what they needed to do to be successful."

Last year the Clan got together with plans of recording another album, and although some songs were recorded, the project was not finished because of scheduling conflicts. Rae says he took a few of those records and might put them on his next solo LP, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2, which is due in the spring or summer. Busta Rhymes and RZA are co-executive-producing the album, and Dr. Dre might produce as well. But so far RZA has the bulk of the beats on there. "RZA is on fire," Rae said.

Paradoxically, the Chef says he heard criticism about his last two albums, Immobilarity and The Lex Diamond Story, efforts on which he tried to convey more positive messages. So in turn, Rae is delving back to his long-dead hustling days and says Cuban Linx 2 will be told from the perspective of Raekwon the drug dealer.

"I'm in a business where I have to move with the times," he said. "I have to show and prove my maturity level has grown tremendously. Nobody's ever satisfied. At the end of the day, this album is gonna be the album dudes want. It ain't gonna be the album Rae felt he should have given. This is gonna be what y'all wanted. So when it comes how it comes, this is how y'all made me. The Purple Tape Part 2, this is serious to me." (Rae's first LP, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, was released as a purple-colored cassette.)

Wu-Tang Clan tour dates, according to Def Jam:

2/7 - New Haven, CT @ Toad's Place
2/8 - Worcester, MA @ The Palladium

Ghostface Killah, one of the many members of Wu-Tang Clan, will release his fifth album, Fishscale, on February 28 via Def Jam. The lead single will be "Back Like That," featuring up-and-coming labelmate Ne-Yo. Production on the project was supplied by MF Doom, Pete Rock, Madlib and J. Dilla, among many others.

Additionally, Ghostface's manager told Billboard.com that the song "Wu United" features all members of the Wu-Tang Clan and they are regrouping in February for their first tour since 1997. Dates are booked from February 7 in New Haven, CT to February 19 in Orlando, but Billboard says discussions are underway for additional summer dates.

HAPPY WU YEAR: 2006 Wu-Summary [End Of Year Review]

It is once again another end of the year, 2005 has had its ups and downs, fast and slow moments, 2005 (MMV) is/was a common year starting on Saturday of the Gregorian calendar. It corresponds to the years 5765-5766 in the Hebrew Calendar and 1425-1426 in the Islamic Calendar. 2005 is the World Year of Physics, the Year of the Rooster in the Chinese calendar, and the International Year of the Eucharist in Catholicism.

What does 2005 mean to the Wu-Tang fans? How significant was it? How many albums came out this year from the clan and Wu-fam? Slamming albums? Who or what groups got initiated into the Killa Beez? Did we lose any members this year? Wu disappointments? Qualms / Beefs, list goes on, One thing is for sure, Wu-Tang fans worldwide sure have something to admire or criticize about the Wu, For every time some one dies, another is born, so for every good moment, there is also unfortunately a bad one.  Wu-International has compiled a small list of some of the memorable moments, Recommendations, Power Moves, Special Shout Outs to contributors in the Wu-tang movement in 2005, Expectations for 2006, and so on, So sit back and reminisce about what 2005 had to offer, You can add on at the FORUM as naturally we would have missed some things out. Happy Wu Year!

 Memorable Moments:

  • Armel Of Ancient Coins teams up with Recka of Royal fam to form A&R.
  • Formation and album from super group Black Market Militia
  • Prodigal Sunn, Blue Raspberry & Streetlife releases their long overdue debuts.
  • Wutangcorp came back online
  • RZA releases The Wu-Tang Manual
  • Darkim Be Allah & Allahwise returns back to the scene with new album after 5 years
  • GZA/Genius teams up with DJ Muggs for an album.
  • Wu Music group is formed
  • GZA takes Liquid Swords Entertainment to Babygrande records.
  • Wu-Tang Latino chamber is introduced to the world
  • Alife NYC teamed up with Wu to release mixtapes / cloths
  • Critics takes The RZA's acting skills seriously as he steals the shine on "Derailed" movie.
  • Killa Sin gets out of jail.
  • Chessboxin added into the Oxford American dictionary as inspired by Wu-Tang Clan
  • Ghostface Killah launches dolls

 Power Movers:

  • Chambermusik! [Love it or hate it, Call it a Wu site or not, Chambermusik held down Wu-Tang Clan fans worldwide with numerous releases of rare albums, Interviews of favorite artists, Exclusive news and Online radio]
  • Think Differently Music [Reinventing the Wu-tang movement, Started off releasing exclusive mixtapes of unreleased Wu-tang materials, from CDs, DVDs, to Cloths and finally progressed to releasing one of the best albums of the year album via the major network]
  • Dom Pachino aka P.R. Terrorist [Quoting a fan "Dom P is like the Master P of the Killa Beez" One of the hardest working artists in the game, forming Team Napalm, releasing about 5 solid albums in a year, 2 DVDs plus running a label. Respect Due!!
  • MySpace [While not a Wu site, Myspace managed to attract a number of Wu-tang artists to thier site, and managed to secure a distribution deal and record label with the majors to assist artists in getting their albums out. From the generals, killa beez & wu fam, almost everyone is registering on this site.
  • Wu-Tang Fans [There really are no fans out there like the Wu-tang clan fanbase, from any genre of music, all races, cultures, country and further, the dedicated fans are what has kept the wu going, believe that or not, from the over zealous fanatic to the usual music head.

Nu-Tang Clan [New Wu-tang affiliates]:

  • Black Market Militia / Maccabeez [Who said Wu-killa beez only have to be initiated by The RZA? with that being true, check the line up, Killah Priest, Timbo King & Hell Razah are all official Killa beez, So when formed within themselves it is only logically nothing changes, call it inherited affiliation, same would go for the new line up of Maccabeez, which by the way is not a new group but the new line up was officially noted last year, which would apply to Black Market Militia regardless of the 2 non Wu members on it.
  • Harlem 6 [Introduced to the world by the RZA, their aim in the fam was to bring that "commercial underground" sound into Wu-tang, Thug Righteous Music as they call it, and also introducing Wu-tang R&B. With rumors of them working with RZA for a new album, 2006 will see what they truly have to offer under the W, and an official album will make their inclusion authentic]
  • Wu-Tang Latino [The name speaks for itself, The introduction of this group was greeted with mixed feelings by fans as it was not hip-hop but a Reggeaton chamber of the Wu movement. Fans have also shown a strong desire for Dom Pachino to be involved in this project. With reggeaton currently dominating the charts, Wu-Tang Latino stands a great chance of gaining new fans as well as converting non-believers.]
  • 71RAW [There are still questions as to the initiation of the group, 71Raw members have confirmed they are now official killa beez, but comments by their mentor Christ Bearer suggest they are just Wu-Fam and in line or in works to become official when the time is right. Regardless of that, 71Raw have shown they are a force to be reckoned with by resurrecting that Westcoast killa Beez sound and getting everyone involved in their projects.]

Album Counts:

  • Wu-Tang Clan: 2  [Strangely there were really only 2 official albums from the generals this year] GZA/Genius duet with Muggs & U-God's second album. If you add the album put out by Ghostface & Trife, plus the 3 albums 'put out for' Ol' Dirty Bastard then the count would be 6, which is still low, hopefully 2006 would host a higher count.
  • Wu-Tang Killa Beez: 23 [Without a doubt the killa beez held the W down this year with release of official albums via indie, major or the internet, Without mentioning the numerous quality mixtapes unleashed into the market. This count excludes re-issues.
  • Wu-Fam: 6 [Who is fam and whose not, this has been a question the fans have been debating for years especially when it comes to some artists, This year have its fair share of strangeness, Artists once down were not so keen to claim their affiliations with the Wu, While others who had no ties whatsoever were claiming Wu to the fullest all the way from US to Russia. The count of 6 albums exclude re-releases or re-issues.

Most Loves Moments:

  • Killa Sin [Killarmy] Comes back home
  • LA The Darkman and Bronze Nazareth gets signed to Think Differently Music
  • Ironman Meets Metal Face - The best of the underground teams up, Ghostface Killah connects with MF Doom for an album.
  • Liquid Sword + Soul Assassin - GZA/Genius and Cypress Hills DJ Muggs releases one of the best albums last year.
  • Block Famous - Return of Darkim Be Allah & Allahwise to the music scene with an A.I.G. album
  • Wu-Tang Killa Beez 10th Anniversary European Tour kicking off early January 2006

Most Frowned At Moments:

  • The Rebel - Inspectah Deck was first to team with DJ Muggs for an album but nothing came of it, Hopefully INS would learn something from The GZA's/Muggs collaboration.
  • Y-Kim The Illfigure - Be it a publicity stunt or not, Y-kim airs out differences with some members of the clan and goes further by challenging the entire Wu-tang/Killa beez to a battle in a not so friendly manner.
  • S-Unit - Trife and Solomon Childs were at the fore front of Theodore Unit, so it was disappointing when there were rumors that S-Childs has left the set.
  • Wu-Tang Reunion - A year before the Wu showed a united front just before ODB passed away, The reunion album did not happen this year but most worrying were rumors that Ghostface Killah and U-God has not done any contributions to the much talked about album, It is still just a rumor... but one thing is for sure, it is not a Wu-tang album without all the members involved.
  • The Corp - This should have been on the most loved moments, as the Wutangcorp site came back online in full force this year and the fans rejoiced in finding another forum to Wu, wu, wu, not just another forum but an official site and forum, and just as quick as it came back it went down again. At end of the year the site has promised to get back soon, So we all look forward to that.
