[12th. September. 2007] New Update:

Live At The Labs Take 2 Set To Drop

No introduction needed, fans already know the name associated with Fame labs by now, definitely know the name behind the production of "Twelve Jewels" a RZA solo song off the Gravediggaz second album "The Pick, The Sickle, and The Shovel" that went on sell over 300,000 copies worldwide and debuted at number 7 on the Top Hip-Hop/R&B charts. Not much was heard from Darkim Be Allah or Fame Labs after their contribution to the gold selling compilation RZA Presents RZA Presents: Wu-Tang Killa Bees – The Swarm Vol. 1. The crisp drums, melodic horns, and heartfelt lyrics made it a standout track on the album. The Swarm sold 139,000 copies its first week of release, landing at ..4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Over the next couple of years, Darkim grew tired of the major label politics and waiting games, so he took matters into his own hands in 2000. Utilizing the internet as an emerging tool to showcase independent artists, Darkim released his first CD on MP3.com.
Live at the Lab; Take 1 was an 8 track collection of songs by Darkim Be Allah & his Fame Labs crew. Immediately, fans clamored to hear the new music from the man who had built a substantial following within the hip-hop community. The lead single, "N*gg*s Know", enjoyed the number one position on the MP3.com charts by having the most number of plays each week. When MP3.com folded, Darkim became disillusioned with the music industry and disappeared for a few years. Though he still continued to make music with AllahWise, it was seen more as a hobby versus a career. In Darkim's absence, fans scrounged to find any and every track that the talented MC had blessed. Songs flew around the various file sharing programs, further enhancing the legend that was Darkim Be Allah. Rumors swirled regarding his whereabouts and why he had decided to vanish from the music scene in the height of his popularity. Finally, in 2005, the call was answered. Realizing how deeply they were missed, Darkim & AllahWise decided to come back into the limelight, much to the pleasure of their fans. Compiling several unreleased tracks with some new ones, Fame Labs Presents: A.I.G. (Darkim Be Allah & AllahWise) was born. The collection of songs is the group's most complete work to date, and has been released to exceptional reviews and hailed as one of the best indie release that year.

Enter the fame labs chamber: it was only a natural progression based on the fans request for Darkim Be Allah to follow up with a part 2 of Live At The Lab and gradually introduce the world to the full roster of Fame Labs and their music. Live At The Lab Take 2 is bound to continue where things were left, so the fans can expect nothing but classic  and undiluted hip-hop, will feature off course Darkim Be Allah both on the vocals on mostly on  productions, Allahwise, K Bar, Supreme Just and introducing 36 Zero, Build Destroy, Bolo and much more. Peep out the current heat playing right now on the main page by 36Zero, next week we will be playing something else and also check out the current track listing below which is will either remain the same or change as the release date approaches. More info and news in relations to Fame Labs will be updated as soon as more information is obtained, Be on the look out for another hip-hop banger!

Hell Razeh Pairs Up With Producer Duo Blue Sky Black Death For Razah's Ladder

Blue Sky Black Death, the critically acclaimed production duo of Kingston & Young God, unveil their highly-anticipated sophomore album,
“Hell Razah: Razah’s Ladder,” featuring Wu-Tang Clan/Sunz of Man affiliate Hell Razah. The album streets October 23rd, 2007 courtesy of Babygrande Records.

“Hell Razah: Razah’s Ladder” is a shot of adrenaline into the world of producer/emcee concept/collaboration albums. With 2006’s critically
acclaimed “Blue Sky Black Death presents: The Holocaust (which exclusively featured Wu-Tang affiliate Holocaust), Blue Sky Black Death made inroads with indie hip-hop heads for their brooding and nuanced production complementing Holocaust’s fragmented lyricism. “Hell Razah: Razah’s Ladder”
suitably expands upon Blue Sky Black Death’s penchant for pairing tasteful instrumental hip-hop with renowned underground emcees. To date, Blue Sky Black Death have collaborated with and/or produced for the likes of Guru (Gang Starr), Sabac Red (Non-Phixion), Jus Allah, Wise Intelligent (Poor Righteous Teachers), Rob Sonic, Virtuoso, Chief Kamachi, Holocaust, A-Plus and Pep Love (Hieroglyphics), Mikah-9 (Freestyle Fellowship), Awol, amongst many others, while Hell Razah is experiencing an elevated profile from his recent ‘07 release
Renaissance Child.” “Hell Razah: Razah’s Ladder” features Hell Razah on all tracks, while
ILL Bill, Sabac Red, Crooked I, Prodigal Sunn and more contribute verses. With production exclusively by Blue Sky Black Death, “Hell Razah: Razah’s Ladder” is an unprecedented collaboration between independent hip-hop’s most promising up and coming talent.

Wu-Tang Clan Covers Beetles For 8 Diagrams.

The new Wu-Tang Clan album will include a Beatles cover, the rap collective have confirmed.

The seminal hip hop supergroup release "8 Diagrams", their first new studio LP in six years and their first since the death of founding member Ol' Dirty Bastard, this autumn.

Wu leader RZA has revealed that the record includes their take on The Fab Four's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", with Harrison's son appearing as guest star.

Dhani Harrison plays drums on the cover, which

has been renamed "Gently Weeps", while John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers lends guitar.

Speaking about Dhani, RZA said: "He's the biggest Wu-Tang fan in the world. He knew all the kung fu sh*t! That's deep! I told him I would be honoured if he played his father's song."

Reportedly, the concept of the song will deal with a drug dealer (played by Ghostface) and a drug user (played by Method Man), and won't be a straight cover, but instead more of an interpolation. The song will be called "Gently Weeps", and will be included on The 8 Diagrams, due November 13th on SRC.

Shyheim Drops New Album & Movie: Global Warning CD/DVD

New Album/DvD Movie From Wu-Tang's Protégé give you the best of both
worlds Global warming the album & Global warning the move.

In what might be one of the best underground albums people have yet to hear. Shyheim's latest record "love letters ," feat Mya captures the hip-hop audience who yearn for a fresh and raw alternative to the commercial
sounds that has taken over many of radio's airwaves today. The 16-track album offers classic production from Wu-Tang's own The RZA
and legendary producer Easy
Mo Bee, in addition to up and coming producers , Stics No Samples to name a few. In "Global warning".Shyheim transitions from adolescent thug to an astute street philosopher, delivering his fourth and most personal album to once again offer proof that he is still one of the best lyricists in hip-hop.

Since he's dropped three solo LPs since his 1994 debut "On and On," Shyheim continues to recite eloquent and powerful thug poetry in every track. Accompanied by gritty, explosive beats, the 26-year old native Staten Islander rhymes about the hard-core facts of life in the ghetto, relationships with fellow Wu-Tang members and the music industry, and also recounts experiences from a recent incarceration in an upstate New York correctional facility. Shyheim's journey from adolescence to manhood in the public eye is surely a great story that hasn't been
told.

Shyheim's talent spread into the silver screen as Hollywood demanded his presence in films like "Original Gangsters" (1996) with Pam Grier and Fred Williamson, playing a wily bike-riding teen named Dink, "The Preacher's Wife" (1996) with Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston and "In Too Deep" (1999) with LL Cool J and Omar Epps. Shyheim also appeared in episodes of Robert Townsend's "The Parent 'Hood" from 1996-1997.

Shyheim just wrapped up a pilot episode for a series on HBO set to air in jun 2007 called "Winky's Spot," co-starring with boxing champion WInky Wright, rapper Jadakiss, and Bre and Tiffany from America's Next Top Model. Wrote & Produce the dvd movie Global warning.

Living on both the East and West coasts, a young-minded rapper's life living on the fast lane soon caught up with Shyheim in 2001, when he was charged with armed robbery and weapons possession. Invaluable lessons were learned during the two years he spent at Franklin Correctional Facility in upstate New York. Shyheim, who has learned of self-preservation and patience, is ready to take on the world again but this time, cannot be considered a "rugged child" any more.

You can pre-order the album now from his myspace page directly; www.myspace.com/shyheimthemanchild

Co-Defendants Army [Co-Defendants & Killarmy Album Set To Drop 25th September 2007]

Attentat Lyrical / Co-Defendants hailing from France sparked debate last year within the Wu-Tang fans as to their affiliation with the Wu, while the speculation is still pending, one thing is for sure, the group is putting in work and making moves. Wu-Wear Europe is their official sponsors, the group also teamed up and formed an alliance with Killarmy and Shabazz The Disciple respectively last year.
An established tie that has resulted in the completion of a joint album from them and Killarmy’s members, Shogun The Assasson aka Ali Bastard The 1st and Beretta 9 aka Kinetic. While this might not be a full line up of Killarmy members this will mark the first album released by 1/3 of Killarmy members since their last album.

The position of Killarmy as a groups is still unclear as 2 of its members are currently serving time, and others are mainly focused on their solo projects amongst other things, it is quite certain regrettable that a Killarmy album is not going to come by anytime soon. The collaboration of Beretta 9 and Shogun with Co-Defendants is far from a Killarmy album, this is the closest thing to it as of now until either both artist team up with an album of release their own or solo projects.

Attentat Lyrical / Co-Defendants is made up of Enza and Taxi, and this duo have done collaborations with the likes of Akon, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, Wu Latinos, Buddha Monk and many more. Another Co-Defendant album is planned for December/January with 14 tracks and 3 videos and will feature guest appearances again from Killarmy, Shabazz The Disciple and so on. [11th. July. 2007] New Update

Njeri Earth: Supa Sista Returns With The 20-20 [The Interview]

Njeri was born in the hometown of Soul music, Detroit, Michigan. Her love of music was influenced early by her father who was also a songwriter and musician. Most Wu fans would recognise her from her contribution to Wu-Tang Clan's GZA/Genius album "Beneath The Surface" on songs “1112 and “Victim” while more than holding her own with veteran rappers such as Killah Priest and Masta Killah.

Next time she was seen on the mainstream again was her role on Eminem's movie "8 Miles" where she performed her own lyrics, adorned in a 3/4ths length skirt and hair wrap, as the “3rd Parking Lot Rapper” in the movie’s “Cipher” scene. Gaining inquisitive fans world-wide, Njeri released her first solo album “Supa Sista” in 2005. The album displayed Njeri’s natural talents, though lacked the push it truly deserved.

Njeri continued recording as well as performing. She has graced audiences with her lyrics
all throughout the Detroit area at venues such as Cobo Hall, St. Andrews Hall, Hart Plaza, the State Theater, the Loading Dock and many others. Njeri Earth’s performance experience includes the Wet Lands in New York as well as several performances at the Harriet Tubman school in Harlem for the Nation of God’s and Earth’s “Show and Prove”. Njeri has also performed and was well received in Atlanta, Indiana, and Canada.

2007 marks a sort of rebirth for Njeri. She’s spent the beginning of the year speaking with
and teaching young artists the importance of maintaining a message and keeping originality
in their music. Njeri is also using this year to release her proudest musical work to date, the album “20-20". With the album just released in June, Wu-International caught up again with Njeri to follow up on where we left off on the last interview and find out more about the new album. Please click on the picture above or this
link to read the full interview. Enjoy!

[10th. July. 2007] New Update

Raekwon Presents Ice Water Inc: The Group & The Album

Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan to unveil the long awaited debut from the Ice Water clique on August 28th via Babygrande Records.
Highly anticipated album features Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross,
Three Six Mafia, Remy Ma, Jagged Edge & more.

Under the tutelage of Wu-Tang Clan’s resident chef Raekwon, the 4 man crew of Polite, Stomach, P.C. (Paulie Caskets) and D.C. (Donnie Cash) marks Staten Island’s return to prominence as a hotbed for fresh, credible talent. Die hard fans may remember Ice Water from their appearances on several tracks on Raekwon’s last album, 2002’s “The Lex Diamond Story,” as well as their opening stints for the Chef on his subsequent 30+ state tour.

As Raekwon confirms, “We knew these cats had potential way back, but the timing wasn’t right. I always kept a radar on dudes, and when I felt they was ready mentally and lyrically,
I helped ‘em get on.”

Raekwon compares his protracted development of the group to raising pitbulls: “I’m training these pits. I’ve got them on the treadmill, and I’m beating ‘em, feedin’ ‘em hot sauce and steaks, so they’re ready for this industry.”

Honed and focused, Ice Water’s debut, Raekwon presents…Ice Water: ”Polluted Water,” will finally be released on August 28th on Babygrande Records, home to such renowned and critically acclaimed talent as Hi-Tek, GZA, Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique and more. Raekwon states, “Babygrande recognized that Wu is a brand, and we’ve got so many different divisions of rappers around us.”

But is Ice Water really ready for the spotlight? The veteran multi-platinum selling MC speaks earnestly, justifying the time he’s taken to refine the quartet’s innate skills: “I can’t
put my name on anything that I feel is not on my level. These dudes are on my level, that’s why I pushed for the project; I believe in them.” A-listers such as Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Remy Ma, Three Six Mafia and Jagged Edge believed too, appearing on a number of the album’s tracks, which also features appearances from Rae himself and Method Man, along with production by such renowned producers as Scram Jones, Jagged Edge and EZ-Elpee. According to Rae, the collaborations weren’t just a result of Rae’s industry stature: “Yea I pushed a couple of buttons. Busta Rhymes, he’s a good friend of ours; but he knew
where these dudes was at. Nobody would represent these guys if they didn’t have a good taste in they mouth about dudes” Honing their craft for over a decade, Ice Water has paid their dues. Indeed, the release of "Polluted Water" marks both the return and rebirth of Staten Island hip-hop. The significance of the group’s long awaited emergence from the Wu-Tang Clan’s very own Shaolin stomping ground is not lost on Master Chef Raekwon: “At the end of the day, I knew I’d never build another dynasty with eight or nine dudes. But
these dudes’ chemistry is perfect. This is the next dynasty.”

Raekwon presents…Ice Water: “Polluted Water” hits stores August 28th, 2007.
