Cappadonna
Capitalizes [Cappatilize Album To Hit Stores / Forms A New
Group With Ty Nitty] |
Cappadonna has recently called himself
one of the hardest working man in the business, and there is
a reason why. Early this year Cappadonna dropped his long
awaited
Cappatilize project online and sold it exclusively
online, but due to high demands and request from fans to
have it in stores Cappadonna has managed to secure a deal
with the help of his manager Iron Shiek of Honor Management
to get the album available in stores. So for those who never
got the online version, do not worry you will be able to buy
it soon in a store near you, however like all Wu-tang album
expect a few changes here and there be it in terms of bonus
songs, album cover, track listing, etc.
As if that was not enough, fans would be happy to learn that
Cappadonna has teamed up with Ty Nitty from Infamous Mobb to
form a group called |

|
"Infamous Qur'an". It can only
be expected as QBC and Shaolin, Wu-Tang & Infamous Mobb
camp have been intermingling from day one, right from
the early days of loud to date. This project will be
overseen by Iron Shiek and the 1st single from that
project is called "Food, Clothing, and Shelter" as can
be heard here or both of the artists myspace page.
On a related note, Wu fans will remember Iron Shiek from
Wu-tang management/Protect Ya Neck records and later the
CEO and owner of Iron Chamberz has been busy and
instrumental to the formation of Infamous Quran. While
his then label Iron Chamberz has been dissolved, and the
True Grind DVD release still pending, Iron Shiek has
adopted a new name and now goes by "Honor" and his new
company is called "Honor Management Group" and still
manages a couple of artists. |

Black Sky Blue
Death / Hell Razah: Razah's Ladder Interview |
Wu-Tang Clan affiliate and original
member of Sunz Of Man, Black Market Militia and Maccabeez
sprinkles more insight into one of this year's greatest
highlights, his most recent collaboration with the dynamic
production duo Blue Sky And Black Death on the album "Razah's
Ladder" which drops on via Babygrande records on the 30th of
October.
In this exclusive Wu-International exclusive interview Razah
and Black Sky Blue Death (Young God and Kingston) breaks
down everything you wanted to know about Razah's Ladder and
beyond. Blue Sky Black Death are most renowned for their
critically heralded 2006 collaboration album with another
Wu-Tang affiliate Holocaust and Hell Razah has been putting
in work in the game from numerous group and solo projects
too vast to name. His last work just this |
 |
year was “Renaissance
Child.” which has helped in bringing to the fore his
steadily elevating profile. Recognizing the talents of
Blue Sky Black Death, the veteran emcee shines light on
the album’s creative process from inspiration to
execution, his upcoming projects, his affiliations, new
Sunz Of Man album, and Hip-hop in general allowing Young
God and Kingston to discuss what it was like working
with an upcoming but established lyricist in the game,
the guest artists such as Shabazz The Disciple, Crooked
I, Prodigal Sunn etc on the album, Wu-Tang and much much
more.
While technically Blue Sky Black Death’s sophomore
album, Hell Razah appears on every track and thereby
views this offering as the prefacing opus to his
subsequent release: “Heaven’s Razah.” With “Razah’s
Ladder,” (a very spiritual offering, he says) Razah
intends to advance himself from the domain of the
underground. “Hell Razah: Razah’s Ladder” is a shot of
adrenaline into the world of producer/emcee
concept/collaboration albums.
Razah's Ladder suitably expands upon Blue Sky Black
Death’s penchant for pairing tasteful instrumental
hip-hop with renowned underground emcees. To date, Blue
Sky Black Death have collaborated with and/or produced
for the likes of Guru (Gang Starr), Sabac Red (Non-Phixion),
Jus Allah, Wise Intelligent (Poor Righteous Teachers),
Rob Sonic, Warcloud aka Holocaust (Wu-Tang Killa Beez),
Virtuoso, Chief Kamachi, A-Plus and Pep Love
(Hieroglyphics), Mikah-9 (Freestyle Fellowship), Awol,
amongst many others.
Hell Razah on the other hand is in groups with Killah
Priest and Timbo King as Maccabeez which extends to
Black Market Militia with Queens Bridge legend Tragedy
Khadafi and William Cooper, not forgetting his group,
and first Wu-Tang affiliated group Sunz OF Man. Please

Lin Que (fka
Isis) : GODspeed Interview |
 |
Just when it seems
as though the icy-coated, flashy, stereotypical elements of
the “Rap Game” has strangled the last breath out of the Hip
Hop culture, a springing forth of new artist seem to be
catapulting out of the woodwork with their authentic sound
and innovative lyrical content. We’ve seen it happen over
the last decade. Starving Hip Hop fans are forced to huddle,
like scavengers, over crumbs that symbolize hope for
anything that remotely sounds like “True Hip Hop“. With the
success of highly creative artists such as Kanye West,
OutKast, Ludacris, Common, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli, the
door has opened ever so slightly to allow “True Emcees” to
squeeze in and make their mark. Pushing through the
male-dominated world of Hip Hop comes just what you’ve
been waiting for and missing, Lin Que formally known as Isis
from the X-Clan and later the secret 5th member of the
Wu-Tang all female group The Deadly Venoms along side J-Boo,
N-Tyce, Finesse and Champ MC. |
|
This Queens New
York native might be remembered for her affiliation with
the messenger group X Clan and a vital part of the Black
Consciousness Force called The Blackwatch Movement. As
she progressed further in her career, she teamed up with
MC Lyte and Pam Wilder and opened up a management &
production Company called “Duke Da Moon". The company
Duke Da Moon would also act as a vehicle for Lin Que to
get her music back in the ears of her listeners. She was
then signed to Ruffhouse Columbia and shared a roster
with artists such as The Fugees, Nas, and Cypress Hills.
The underground loved what they were hearing. “This Is
It” & “Rip It Up” was just a small taste of what she was
capable of and would lead to her moving from Sony Music
into her next major record deal with Elecktra Records.
This is where and when she dropped the classic "Let it
Fall." This track featured MC Lyte and was produced by
Caspa. The video was directed by Hype Williams and is
considered a classic underground portrayal of the last
days of true Hip Hop. The fiends kept their eyes on her
just waiting to get more acquainted with this
multidimensional lyricist.
Lin Que has collaborated with various artists such as
Will Downing, Mary J. Blige, Afrika Bambaataa, Queen
Latifah, MC Lyte, Joi Cardwell, Steele/Smif-N-Wessun,
The Beatnuts, Monifah, Ce Ce Peniston and more. Her last
venture was a brief encounter with the Protect Your Neck
group "The Five Deadly Venoms". After leaving the group
for business reasons, she remained writing and creating
music with producers such as .0 (Point Zero), Azteknique
and Ayatollah. Lin’s uncanny ability to write blazing
lyrics landed her a writing gig with MC Lyte on her
“Ain‘t No Other” album. In 2005, Lin started to dabble
with music production. She has produced many tracks in
her arsenal.
"GODspeed" her latest album is finally here. Her
no-nonsense lyrical delivery sets the foundation for
this long awaited album. Her music, while still
preserving its marketable appeal, portrays her struggle
being a strong female in a male-dominated industry which
seems to rather depict woman as “scantily dressed video
hoes”. Lin Que is a breath of fresh air and has a lot to
offer the Hip Hop Community. It would be nice to add a
female to the roster to help relieve the growing desire
for something “REAL”.
Wu-international caught up with Lin Que to find out what
keeps her going, the story behind Deadly Venoms, her new
album, X-Clan and more, GODspeed dropped 4th of October
2007, go out and support the album. Click on the picture
above or this
link to read the full interview. Enjoy!!!
